The Meta 55 (140mm/5.5 of travel) is probably the most versartile bike in our range! It is excellent performer whether going up or down, thanks then to the COMMENÇAL Contact System, which brings both grip and that unforgettable feeling that there is more suspension travel than the vast majority of other bikes in the category. It is so good that it was named as one of the decades ten best bikes, all categories combined by Mountain Bike Rider (a reference in the UK)!! The geometry of the 2009 version has been tweaked for better downhill performance, while retcrining its axcellent uphill capacities, with a new Contact System benefiting from an increase in rigidity. New tubing is used for the new front triangle, combining subtle lines, lightness and outright strength, ready for any challenge.
