MARATHON SUPREME: HS 382, Evolution Line, Folding tire
A touring tire that can do everything. That was the ultimate goal of our R&D technicians when they developed the first of the Marathon Evolution tire range 3 years ago. With an HD Ceramic Guard and Triple Nano Compound it offers the same, outstanding qualities in puncture protection and wet grip, but with its fine LiteSkin sidewall it is easily the lightest and sportiest tire in the Marathon Evo Line.
Tip: The Marathon Supreme does not have a dynamo lighting strip.

HD CERAMIC GUARD:
High Denstiy. High Density Guard is a unique puncture protection technology
only available from Schwalbe. It has been jointly developed in co-operation
with American firm Warwick Mills. Warwick is a specialist maker of
high density fabrics and holds 14 international patents for its weaving
technology. No other bicycle tire protection belt is as densely woven and
this technology makes it possible to make a tire that is both light in weight
and with an extraordinary high level of puncture resistance.
Ceramic. The addition of a ceramic coating is entirely new. Small pieces
of glass that remain embedded in the tire and slowly cut their way through
a protection belt are now stopped by the tough, ceramic particles that
blunt the edges of the glass preventing its destructive migration.
Triple Nano Compound:
In large scale production no other bike tire
manufacturer in the world can combine rubber
mixtures so carefully. This makes new maximum
performance possible: easier rolling,
more stability, more grip. Nano particles
improve grip and rolling resistance in the
hardwearing center compound.
