Lid for basket buddy

The product was installed at the same time as the basket, good quality, robust, the elastic hooking system is simple, we will see if my dog tries to lift the grid and if the elastics are resistant.

After a shaky start caused by the virus, we have just received our Basil Buddy Dog Basket. We were a little concerned that it may not have been large enough, but we have no problem with the size. The great thing about this product is the Mik system for connecting it to our carrier. Could not be easier. The baskets is well made and with the straps to connect the dog and the foam insert, our dog is safe and comfortable. Very happy.

Hi. For my bike rack do I need anything else in the MIK attachment range other than what is provided to attach the basket? Thanks Karen

Hi, I purchased this basket because it is MIK specific. I only have MIK bike racks on my four bikes, and I easily transfer the basket from one bike to the other. It comes ready assembled to connect/ click into the MIK bike rack.

This Basil Buddy MIK Basket is already equipped with an MIK adapter plate specifically to fit and click/lock into the MIK system luggage rack. If you already have an MIK system luggage rack, this basket was made for it and it comes with the adapter plate. The adapter plate is removable.

Hi. I have a metal rack similar to the one on the bike on the website. I did not need the adapter. If in doubt ask the vendor for measurements. I love the way the basket clips into the rack. It’s very secure and easy to take on and off. I ride with my dog and also bought the cage that fits onto the basket. I do not like the elastic that holds the cage on. However I solved that minor problem by using a bungee cord for extra security.
