Are you looking for a spacious pannier that also looks nice? Then the Basil SoHo double bicycle bag Nordlicht in black might be just the thing for you. Made of matte PU material that feels very soft to the touch* with a capacity of 41 litres, the bag is waterproof (IPX3), so you always carry your stuff dry. The bag closes with a roll-top that you attach to the sides of the bag with snaps.
- Your safety is also taken into consideration. The bag is equipped with Nordlicht Technology, an integrated LED strip, so you stand out better in the dark. The LED lighting works on 3x AAA batteries (sold separately). Do you need to transport heavy items? Then you can combine the bag with the Basil Distance holder (sold separately). This holder prevents the bag from getting into the spokes of your bike.
- Simply attach the Basil SoHo double bicycle bag to your carrier with the Universal Bridge system. Thanks to the Universal Bridge system, you can choose how you want to attach the bag. It can be attached with the pre-mounted straps. Or in combination with the Basil DBS system (detachable carrier plates) or an adapter plate such as MIK. Both systems need to be purchased separately.

The saddlebags are excellent quality. They’re like dry bags made for bikes. Very stylish and sleek yet they’ll hold a lot. They are not easily removed and access is a bit complicated but the quality of the fabric, strapping and buckles is excellent. I LOVE the colour. They did not come with the bracket to keep them separated. Perhaps that’s an extra add on? Shipping took over 2 weeks but I do live in Canada.
