for the price, this appears to be quite a good bag. not the best pannier attach system around, but still reasonably good, sturdy, and simple to use (better systems cost a lot more). it will slide a little on the rack (forward/backwards), and there's no clip to secure the bottom of the bag, but, it stays on the rack perfectly fine, and having ,weight in it will minimised any sliding around. my only real disappointment is the size of the bag. the basil website advertises the size as 38 x 11 x 43 cm, and i purchased based on this, specifically to enable my laptop bag to drop ,into it. the actual measurement, with the bag clipped shut at it's longest point, is 40cm instead of 43. that small difference is enough to mean i cannot close the top flap, with my bag in it. bikeinn, as a store, get 5 stars for the transaction, delivery, etc. basil, as the bag manufaturer, while making a good product, need to amend their advertized sizing. so if you're considering this bag - it is good, well made, and the material is the sort that would not let water soak through it - if the smaller 38 x 11 x 40cm size is good for you (when closed), then it's a worthwhile purchase.
