campagnolo makes a unique cable for their shifters so you cannot use generic cables. the generic brake cables work wtih any brake system. i've found it best to insert ,part of the old cables that you are replacing into the housings before you cut them so it does not crimp down on the cable housing. you can then leave that cut piece in there as you sand or grind down the housing face to so it flush or perpindicular to the cable housing so it seats properly and is more likely to work properly. you then insert ,the new cable and simply pus the cut piece out to ready the housing for installation. happy riding!

I read the reviews on the above subject at $A66.99 but the answers about inclusions is confusing. One said the kit did not include cables and they had to be purchased separate,y vs another comment said the cables were included. Please confirm and itemise what’s included?

Question
Some sites sell this product as being suitable for bikes with 8-9-10 gears. I can't find any indication on your site. My bike has 6 gears. Will this product fit?

Hi ! I rode 6 speed gears as I was young. I am sure that cases will fit and probably the cables will also fit your bike. I recommend you to buy first the only the brake cables (check the tradeinn site, approx. 4 Euro) and to see if everything is ok. If so , buy the complete set.

Hi ! Yes, the housing is pre-cut. You´ll get 5 pieces that you have to adjust (to cut) when mounting. Cables are not included. Buy them separately.

The shift outer cable is divided into left, right, and rear. The brake outer cable is divided into front and rear. Any wire must be cut to the correct length for its intended location.
