Good morning. Can this handle (Campagnolo Corp. Chorus/Record Left) be used to change the chainring on a triple chainring? I have exactly the same handle which was mounted on a bike on the left side to change chainrings on a triple chainring. Thank you in advance for your response, best regards.

It will not. It is designed for a two chain ring set up.

Hi! Campagnolo ergo shifters of that age can be used to 2-3 gears for the front crankset. They are not index type just have more “clicks” to adjust perfectly. Hope that helps

Yes, EC-RE201. I can tell you that you can use it if you have record or chorus ergo levers from that era (see the top of the rubber if yours is curved this will be is fine ,if it is pointed you need the older ones). I used them in mine record 2/10 and it is perfect

I think all left levers are compatible with older model front derailleurs. I have 9v record and it should work. What do you think ?

I am not 100% certain: however, I think that if the two screws (upper and lower), that limit the overall lateral travel distance of the derailleur, are set properly for a 9-speed, then the shifter should work fine. I installed my shifter on a 10-speed, and it works flawlessly. I apologize for my lack of a definite answer. You may want a second opinion. Certainly a bike mechanic would know.

I had Chrorus 9v, the Record should work too. I started fresh with this piece, great!

My front derailleur is a 9 speed chorus type and these handles work just fine for me! It´s multiple step as each click moves the cable just a smidge. It would likely work well with other brands if you had the limiters set correctly.
