Hello, I have mounted a campagnolo veloce 12/29 cassette and my upper roller passes 2mm from the cassette despite a maximum height adjustment. Is this normal, and I wonder if I had put a larger cassette the upper roller would have blocked on the cassette. Please give me an answer Regards

If I have a 9-speed cassette, will a 10-speed rear derailleur be compatible?

No, it is not compatible, the linkages are different

Probably not. The derailleur specifications determine how far left or right it can move. If you use a 10 speed derailleur on a 9 speed cassette, the chances are high that the chain will go over the top and bottom gears, resulting in the chain getting stuck between the spokes and the first gear or between the back fork and the bottom gear. A 9 speed cassette requires a 9 speed derailleur. I hope that this answers your question adequately.

For me it is compatible because the wheels are for 9 10 speeds.
