Product description Castelli Perfetto RoS Goretex jacket

Perfetto Ros is a long sleeve jacket for men. This model includes a Gore-Tex layer on the outside that keeps your skin dry and keeps moisture out. An element of this road cycling clothing is through its panels favor the passage of air because it is completely breathable. Also, it includes an elastic layer that improves freedom of movement.

For storage, the men´s jacket is fully foldable, reaching half a pocket. The windbreaker has reflective details that improve visibility in low light conditions.

On the front, the road cycling clothing has a Vislon zipper that facilitates opening and closing. To improve adjustability, sportswear has an anatomical wrist closure. To improve your comfort, you can incorporate a flannel under this garment. The version is unicolor and is available in a variety of sizes and colors.
The Perfetto RoS is the one jacket that does everything well.

We initially designed it as a cool-weather training and extreme-weather race piece for our pro riders, but in reality it excels in many conditions thanks to its full wind protection, great fit through stretchy fabrics, and best-in-class breathability.

Winter 2019 represents the biggest performance upgrade in the four generations of this jacket.

RoS in the name signifies Rain or Shine.

The emphasis should be on dry-weather comfort, which is where this jacket really excels, but then you get near waterproof protection if you do get caught in the rain.

We worked with Gore to develop two new Castelli exclusive GORE-TEX INFINIUM? WINDSTOPPER® fabrics.

We use a light fleece-lined water-resistant version on the forward-facing surfaces and a lighter, stretchier fabric on the back that maintains the breathability of the previous fabric while improving water repellency at the same time.

The Perfetto RoS is that ideal weight:no built-in insulation so you can layer over a light base layer for moderate conditions.

Or you can add a thermal jersey underneath and take it to very cold conditions.

You decide.

The Perfetto family features are all there:excellent fit, easy-sliding YKK® zipper, long tail to protect from wheel spray, reflective panel on the back, and discreet styling that belies the jacket´s racing pedigree.

Excellent, but be carefull - really slim fit... I am 175cm / 70kg and can wear max 1 underlayer.

170cm 65kg sizeL body ; comfortable arm ; little bit long but acceptable length : slightly long, but the long length covers the waist. can be folded to the back pocket. (slightly big)

this perfetto long sleeve ros jacket was the best price i could find having ,done masses of research online & the only xxl i could find for my husband. we are both avid cyclists and massive fans of the castelli gabba jackets. my husbands gabba is just about on its last legs so it was time to repurchase. the gabba is no longer made and perfetto takes its place. on first inspection of the jacket it is lighter than the gabba, the seams are sealed and the logo is a discreet black as opposed to the red of before. the zip looks great being nicely sealed from wind getting in by the zip flap. nice long arms and the bum guard at the back. hope it is as good in performance as it’s predecessor. too early to tell. the slight annoyance is the sizing. my husband is a slim 6ft 40” chest type of guy. castelli sizing is notoriously small for us brits. his old gabba was a xl and a bit big. we tried the l, then the xl and finally the xxl in the perfetto before he felt comfortable with the size to allow for layers underneath in winter riding. going by the lack of xxl available with many retailers i think maybe lots of people had to size up.

I said, it looks good, I have heard very good references to this jacket, now we just need the cold to arrive and use it to see how it is. A very fair size, I normally wear M - L and I have had to go to an XL because the chest adjusts a lot and the fabric is not very elastic. The problem is that I think the jacket was on display or returned by another customer, because the interior fabric, the typical hair, had little balls. I have another one of my totally new partner and these balls do not appear ... Delivery time, although long ... about 2 weeks, established on the day of purchase, no problem.
