Sorpasso RoS is a Castelli men´s culotte made with Nano Flex 3G fabric that repels moisture, adapts to your body and maintains warmth. Plus, it includes Nano Flex Xtra Dry on the hips and thighs.
One of the characteristics of the Castelli bib shorts is that its cut is anatomical, especially at the knees and hips, and includes the Progetto X2 Air bandana that provides you with the comfort you need during long-distance races.
This model of road cycling clothing is designed for winter outings. In the upper area it has flat elastic straps and reflective bands that keep you visible in low light conditions. At the ankle, you will find a YKK- zipper.
Made for long hours in the widest range of conditions, this tight features our ultra-stretchy, warm and water-repellent Nano Flex 3G fabric with the extra warmth of Nano Flex Xtra Dry on the hips and thighs, along with an anatomical cut and the Progetto X2 Air seamless seat pad for long-distance comfort.
The name of this tight, Sorpasso, means overtaking in Italian.
That´s what we´ve tried to do with this tight, to make it a bit faster, better, more comfortable.
It´s made to be technical equipment for riding in the widest range of winter conditions.
The main part of the tight uses our Nano Flex 3G fabric, the third generation of our nanotechnology fabric treatment that adds a high level of water repellency without affecting the breathability, stretch or warmth of the fabric.
You get a highly stretchy, compressive fit that moves with you, focusing on warmth and comfort.
But then we add a few panels of the Nano Flex Xtra Dry fabric to provide a bit more wind protection and warmth in the front panel and over the thighs, and in the back for extra protection from road spray.
It´s not only about the fabrics:anatomical patterning gives a bend at the knee and the hip, while the seamless bib straps lie flat and securely keep everything in place.
Our generously padded Progetto X2 Air seamless seat pad make long rides more comfortable, and you have multiple reflective panels to keep you visible.
We´ve designed this as the go-to tight for a full winter´s riding.

Great fair weather tights

Excellent build and construction. The chamois is superb. I however find these tights suitable for the 45-55 F temps. I took my first ride in 38-40 F and my legs were a bit chilly. My last pair of Sorpasso was from over 10 years ago and I feel those tights were better at blocking wind and warmth. They also seem a bit thicker. I'll keep them because they will be useful, just not tights I'll wear when it's close to freezing. Interestingly, many reviewers liked them in the colder temps. I guess I'm just getting old.

Excellent quality product. Protection from the cold and wind guarantees excellent comfort. For me the ideal temperature is below 10 degrees. I purchased a size L, I am 175 x 73 kg tall and they are perfect. Excellent caseback protection

Pohodlné kalhoty s vynikající vložkou Progetto X2 Air. Velikost XL na 181 cm 81 kg sedne dobře (například Sportful mám velikost L). používáno při teplotách 2-10 °C. Pro nižší teploty doporučuji verzi s windstoper membránou. Voděodolnost je příjemným bonusem. Doporučuji.

Quality without reservations - always great at Castelli. You have to choose the size of the shorts larger - in other companies I have an L in Castelli 2XL. Note on the delivery date: when ordering, I saw an estimate that in a week they will be delivered after four weeks.
