Good upgrade for an MTB to Hybrid

I have been a cyclist for the last 6 years and have used my MTB for my daily rides averaging 30 KM almost everyday. I had been planning to upgrade to a Hybrid or Road bike , but them wanted to experiment if I can use my MTB as a hybrid. Lots of research done and closed this product after extensive review. My biggest worry was will the new tire fit the existing 27.5 dia rim. I was using a 27.5 X 2.10 tires earlier and upgraded to 27.5 X 1.25. The purchase proved to be a success for me. Effortlessly the new tires got fixed to the existing MTB rims and have been using the cycle with its new shoes for the last few weeks. The drive is super smooth and rolling resistance has improved. I had difficulty in finding the exact sized inner tune, but I fixed a 27.5 X 1.8 and works fine, just be carful to avoid pinching. Over all a very good upgrade.
