I bought 2 Cross king 2.3 for my wife on 04/16, they arrived on the 28th (12 days) I found the delivery very fast, I was not taxed, best price impossible. I mounted the 2.20 front and it was fine so I decided to try a 2.30 on the post. I also had a great time with jumps and fast routes. It's a bit noisy on asphalt but, having a front-only mtb, I wanted to put a bigger tire behind to have more wheel on jumps and paths crashed with stones or roots. Both mounted tubeless, I feel the rear cushioning just right.

Bought 2 Continental Cross Kings 29x2.3 from BikeInn for UK delivery. A knew they were coming from Spain but they were not urgent. They got to me within a few days. Really pleased. Actually got to me quicker than a wheel I ordered from a UK supplier on the same day. The tracking shcedule was 1st class. Tyres on 24 hours later and first 50km cross country ride completed. The Cross Kings roll really well with the near continuous smooth Centre running tread great for hard surfaces but still good with tight bends at speed in gravel. Really pleased with them.

Continental has vastly improved the quality of tires. The Cross King has great grip and superior quality, perfect for mountain biking, but drags a bit when rolling on tarmac. You also have to be careful with the pressure that Continental recommends, it's an exaggeration and I don't even know how they recommend 44 psi! I use 27 at the back and 25 at the front and it's perfect. Anyway, a good tire I strongly advise. Unbeatable quality price. I will buy again.
