A few years ago I switched to 28 and I will never go back. I tried various Vittoria compounds and have now switched to Continentals. I have already used them on various outings and I must say that they are superior to the Vittoria and truly an excellent product. I inflate them to 6.8÷7 bar (due to the limit indicated in the circle) and they work fine. Advise. Right price.

This is my third set and will keep on replacing with the same tyres until there will be a better option from Continental. Perfect grip on tarmac, very stable on high speed, absorbs most of the small bumps on the road's surface, so your palms stays in comfort. Only one drawback, they wear quicker than Michelin, but it worths the other benefits.

Just bought two of these 700x28 plus 2 latex tubes. Honestly, these tires are more than great, they are fast, excellent grip and the rolling resistance is drastically reduced compared to what I put on bike before. As for puncture, time will tell but after reviewing on the internet, they are suppose to be higher than average on this front. Only annoying thing was the delivery time (for Canada), I waited for a month before delivery...

This tire does not differ much from the grandsport race, in my opinion it is only a little lighter, although I do not find it a fair assessment since it gives a greater real width than the race, also its price is lower, the gp5000 gives 27.4 mm in its 25 size and the grand sport race of 25 gives 28.6 reais the grandspor race of 23 gives 26.9 yes, comparing in weight with the gp 5000 they would be tied at 230 g. If you want to follow my recommendation, it would be to buy some grand sport race, using the 2 for a long time. I have realized that the resistance to rolling is very similar, the grip is the same as the resistance to punctures, the race is much higher and in duration they last a little longer, also their price is almost half

I got the gp5000 tires in size 32mm yesterday and I took them for a ride. These are tube type. They were easy to fit on the Mavic Xyrium Equipe rims. It was a short ride on concrete roads. These were replacing Pirelli PZero Velo 4s tires in 28mm. Grip on the concrete was equally good, of not better. This tire also rolls very easily. It's perhaps a bit heavier, but being wider, that would be expected. Another thing that I found pleasantly surprising, was the speed of delivery from the Netherlands to India.

Un des meilleurs pneus si vous roulez beaucoup. Très bon rapport qualité/ prix/ durabilité/ résistance aux crevaisons. Le 23 mm est un peu plus large versus d’autres marques dans le même format. Donc pas vraiment nécessaire d’aller dans le 25mm sur vélo de route.

Is the 700x28C size suitable for 13C rims (with 18.6 mm internal rim) or should I opt for the 700x25C? My rims are the Mavic Cosmic SLS Carbon. Thanks

They will fit but will bulge outwards and not be particularly aero or a good profile for the rim. The 25c version would be a better fit.

I think with that internal rim width, you´d be able to get away with either 25 or 28. You´ll likely be more aero optimized with the 25s, but the 28s will be much more comfortable. Depends on what your preference is!
