Shorter valve inner tubes are ideal for wheels with rim depths of 24mm or 30mm but are not ideal for wheels with rim depths of 40mm or above (as the shorter valve would not extend out of the rim valve hole).

Presta valve tubes are most commonly used for road wheels (700c) and on a few MTB wheels as the valves are thin, whereas Schrader valves are more commanly found on MTB wheels as valve is larger and wont fit through 700c rim valve holes.

I have used other cameras from various brands, but this is the only one that due to its quality in compounds has resisted the highest number of punctures that one can imagine. I use these cameras with a Continental 5000 GP that is a guarantee not to suffer in a competition no matter what.

A little big?

It arrived in individual packaging. However, compared to tubes from other manufacturers, it feels a little thicker even if bundled. I put it in a saddle bag and breaded it in two. There was no gap for entering the tire lever. The tubes of other companies are made a little more compact.

I use these tubes on my 3 bikes and find them to be reliable and durable. Continental really delivers at a very good price! My only complaint was the time they take to arrive (over 4 weeks) but it was worth the wait!

Is the valve core removable? I´m asking to know if you can put anti-puncture liquid inside the chamber.

You can remove the core only with special tool. I would not recomend to do so.

Presta or schrader valve
