Anyone who has problems with shoes turning back and forth on the egg-beater pedals should try these caps. I only found the egg-beater really good when these caps were installed, because you have a better connection to the pedal. Clicking in and out of the pedal is not impeded/worsened. ATTENTION: To mount the caps on the pedal crank side, the axle must be removed from the pedal. This is not particularly difficult and no special tools are required, but it is also a certain amount of effort.
