I've got eggbeater 3s on my other bikes but am building a weightweenie Cannondale SSE so liked the sound of a 100g reduction in weight for these. In reality they are 185g versus 285g for the 3s. The colour in the ad is not quite true, the gold is less bright and the body is more matt titanium rather than shiny silver which suited my bike better anyway. Very happy with these despite the wife angering price I paid for a set of pedals! (Granted bikeinn were the cheapest around).

Spectacular weight, Good quality Aesthetically, the golden color is not the same as in the photos, it is a little more matte in the vertical lines and in the fitting!

In my opinion, Egg Beater 11 overperforms pedals of other brands I used (Look, Shimano). They are exceptionally light and you can easily off and on pedals. This is important when you have to quickly jump out of the bike before unexpected obstacle on the way. Even when your blocks are muddy you can attach your shoe to the pedal. Pedals themselves clean from extra mud quickly during pedaling.

Super light, strong and easy to install

I actually have these on my road bike. Though they are MTB pedals they don't look out of place and it saves on shoes as I mostly ride MTB or cyclo-cross. Plus I find the them more forgiving and easier to engage and disengage from than SPDs. These are super light and feel very strong. I've had Crank Brothers pedals for years and they've never let me down or caused aches and pains. They are super easy to install and use and Crank Brothers cleats are minimal so no hassle for those shorts periods off the bike.
