The kit is compatible with Egg Beater 3 Pedals, if there is any change in the efficiency of the product.

I didn´t notice any change in efficiency. I use the same axles on my mountain bike. The Q-factor has slightly increased and it has become even more convenient. If necessary, a partial increase in Q-factor can be compensated by the position of the spike on the shoe.
