I bought it for an electric one for the upper bar of the frame since it is double and cannot go vertically. Therefore I can pull the bottle sideways with my right hand without hitting the bottom bar. Good quality and very light.

Is the left bottle cage removable with the right hand?

It depends on where it is placed. If you place it on the bottom tube of the frame, it is removed from the left side. And on the contrary, if it is placed in the frame tube where the seat post goes, it is removed with the right hand.
