I tried the specific handles and found them very comfortable and with a good grip. Care must be taken during installation not to place the grip close to the shifter as the thumb will bump into the shifter.

I purchased the GP3 grips as an upgrade over my existing GA3 grips with pretty conservative expectations. The GP3 grips' palm support area is significantly larger and feels more compliant, both of which are an advantage for me. The addition of the bar ends also provides the welcome benefits of being able to occasionally change my grip to keep my wrists relaxed. I am very happy with these ergonomic grips and would definitely recommend them. Notes: Purchased for casual road biking, and upgraded from a set of GA3 grips.

It is the latest Ergon gp3 model, it has a cap at the ends if you want to put a rear-view mirror. It is of great quality and comfort.
