Great saddle, since fitting it I’ve had no more lower back pain or numb feet! Love the fitting to attach a small bag to the seat, no more threading wet muddy straps with cold fingers, so much easier.

Bike: Trek Checkpoint SL6 2021 Upgraded from Bontrager Aeolus Pro Bike Saddle after 7,000 km that costs 250$ and it is awesome but for road use only. This one are exceptional for both Gravel and Road. Very comfortable, well it's Ergon.

I rode on it about 440 km in 5 days on a trip. The saddle is very pleasant to the touch and is made of a very wear-resistant material. I leaned it against trees, stobs, a concrete fence - but it's still like new. Cool Saddle!

Been testing out SMC Sport Gel against the newer SMC Core Saddle for bikepacking trips this summer.. and with no surprise as I usually get along with all Ergon saddles, the Sport Gel is a very comfortable saddle. A little slimmer and flatter than the SMC Core, but in some respects I prefer that. Will be quite the showdown between the two, but in my opinion.. you can't go wrong with either saddle.

After riding a year with a Bontrager Arvada that ripped me a new one, i finally understand why a lot of people choose this saddle. Matching it with a good chamois will make those long rides enjoyable and not a task.

Replaced my old hardtail saddle with this one. It’s comfy and supportive, I feel i can be on a saddle for longer rides compared to my old SMC comp. Size and shape is almost the same as the SMC comp.

Tested twice, off-road only. I did 2 exits one of 40km and one of 30. For now I can say that it is a good product. However, the saddle must be leveled correctly otherwise it can be annoying. I had a Wtb Rocket (just as good) but it was a little narrower than this Ergon and it seems to me that the width of the Ergon fits my ass better. It takes some exits to stabilize, we'll see in the future. Bike inn ok!

Initial impressions are that it is comfortable, the padding seems luxurious, but only a long ride will tell. Even though I measured my sit bones at home many times to get the correct measurement, I can't help feel that I should have gone for the larger size as I have a very upright position on my mtb. Would recommend, but always try one out somehow first if possible.

I bought ergon smc sport gel and all i can say is wow .... my old selle italia was painful after a while.i really like the design and fits me perfect.the only downside is the weight which is on the heavy side 300gr but i can live with that because its so comfortable. Thank you bike inn for the fast shipping and great price.i will buy again with confidence.

Yes, it comes in a male version. Another detail is that the saddles (at least in Ergon), in the male version, the slit is longer and they have that trim. You can see it in detail on the brand´s website.

If the distance between the seat bones is 143mm, it should be the M/L size seat. On the Ergon website there is a tool that allows you to verify which will be the most appropriate seat according to the user and the type of activity to be carried out, I have used it and the seat that it has recommended works great for me.
