This jig is made of relatively thin plastic but it does the job efficiently. You have to mark the position of your big toe joint and the center of your heel/shoe on the old and new shoes with tape. You measure for the old shoe the position along the length and along the width, and the deviation of the heel. With the cleat loose, you position your new shoe in the same way and tighten the cleat in this position. It is relatively quick. It works much better than trying to replicate the cleat position by taking measurements on the sole. This is what I tried before buying this jig and the result was not good, because the sole is shaped differently on my new shoes.

This is one of the most useful tools I own. Because there is a full size difference between my feet, and the fact I need to toe-out my right foot 2-3 degrees for proper knee alignment when pedaling, setting up my cleats has always been hit an miss and all my shoes were (inaccurately) set up slightly differently. The tool allowed me to identify and record my best cleat position and alignment, and accurately duplicate it on four pairs of shoes. I'm thrilled with how effectively, easily, and accurately I can set my cleats now. I just placed another order for the SPD SL tool for my road shoes.

Hello, I have a significant back injury, and I found this out in a Biomechanical study that they did to me a few years ago. It seems incredible the difference that you can achieve in pedaling with the cleats incorrectly placed and with them well placed. The templates are not cheap, but the best online here at Bikeinn. I wanted to buy it to use once every x time to control the adjustment of the cleats. I know it marks on the shoe ... but it really isn't the perfect fit. I recommend it. Thanks Bikeinn speed and seriousness, I love this store (full of sweets);)

I do not give a good evaluation to the article when seeing that being sealed from the factory, without opening marks or anything remarkable, when I open it I see that it has humidity marks and only at home and the first book (the essential one). Being in another language and having to translate it is not so crucial either but either the factory or storage should take some care. The good thing is that I took a little look at everything and I do not see a defect that damages its use. For the rest of the order very very correct and with the logical delay to the situation we are experiencing. Greetings to bikeInn and I'm sure it would be good to adjust the bike correctly.
