Ergotec seat posts haven't failed on me yet in quality and these Hook seat posts seem particularly heavy duty. Also nice thing is that there are many diameters to choose from and available even in 400mm length for taller riders on small bikes.

The quality of the seatpost, in terms of material, finish, wall thickness and seat-mount adjustment, is very good. I would rate it as good or better than K-Alloy. The best feature, however, is the enormous range of post diameter sizes available. It's great to see a manufacturer catering for all the less common sizes as well as the handful of most common sizes that most of the other brands confine themselves to. Just what is needed for the many bike enthusiasts worldwide who choose to restore an older, classic bike.
