Starting at 2.98 pounds, the 32 Step-Cast (SC) fork is our lightest cross-country fork ever.Optimized for 100 mm of travel, the Step-Cast lower leg design and narrow crown spacing save weight while the 32 mm upper tubes maintain FOX ride quality.

The distinct shape of the lower leg design isn´t just for looks. The 32 Step-Cast (SC) chassis uses a narrow stance to save weight and the step design makes room for the spokes and brake rotor. The 32 SC features 32 mm upper tubes and ample bushing overlap for a quality ride and the hollowed out lower legs provide even more weight savings.

- Remarkably, it seems like FOX was able to pull a significant amount of weight out of its premier XC-race fork with no penalty. Though it´s pitched towards an increasingly-niche arm of the sport, the 32 SC´s manners are so good it´s impressive outside the confines of a race course too.

Bike Radar:
- Strong first impressions: Although we´ve only had a few rides on the fork, our initial impressions are good. The fork is certainly light, comparing well to previous iterations and also when compared to other XC forks... we found the front wheel stuck doggedly to the ground, offering impressive grip and control, even with slightly higher tyre pressures than we might usually run.

Singletrack:
- They´re very capable of the kind of hits you´ll see on any cross country or marathon race course and they can be infinitely tuned to suit weight and riding style. The forks use the well regarded FOX FIT4 damper with a specific damping tune for this model.

Bike Rumor:
- After my first few rides, I´m impressed by FOX´s new XC fork. They pack a lot of performance into a small package that doesn´t give up practical performance in its quest to be one of the lightest damped suspension forks on the market.
