I have made the change from 203 to 223 with the same Galfer model and I am happy, since the braking bite is greater. If you have doubts, go ahead and you will notice a change. Mounted on a rockshox Lyric Ultimate fork, with Galfer +43 postmunt adapter.

Finally disc designed to stop Electric Mountain Bikes. Mounted on my Mustache 26Fat4, this disc offers much better performance than the original Shimano and only heats up very little even with intensive use on the demanding Single-Tracks that we encounter in Savoie. On the other hand, you have to be patient and accept that delivery is postponed daily to finally be delivered 3 weeks later!!! Otherwise impeccable packaging on delivery. Just a little more effort to meet the promised deadlines and it will be perfect!!!

Solid power house rotors. I have these in 2mm thickness on my hardcore hardtail and it stops my heavy ass dead. Paired with the purple ebike galfer pads its a winning combination. Only problem ive had is squeeling breaking on heavy rain and sloppy mud. In the dry they have been spot on and dont overheat. Using with XTR 4 pots

Went from 180 to 203 rotor in the rear. Braking control is much easier to modulate now, reducing arm pump and hand fatigue allowing me to focus on the trail, especially when it gets steep.

An amazing upgrade paired with MTX gold pads. Have these on my ebike running 4pot xt brakes. No need to upgrade for more expensive brakes with these. Just need to dab brakes a few times to get heat in them and you will have more than enough stopping power. Have ridden a few times in the rain and performed great.

E-MTB Spezialized turbo comp 2021 Brake SLX double piston I built a new set of wheels with better scars and now a 6-hole mount for brake discs. In front and behind I installed 223mm with 2mm thickness. Not even the MT7 with 20 discs can do that, which the Galfer discs with the green toppings can do and hold. You only need what feels like half the finger strength. This is absolutely recommendable from a 36 mm Fox. Fork. I'm excited.

I've been running the 1.8mm versions for the past couple of years and they've been great. My only issue was they overheated very slightly on really long DH runs, so thought I'd try the new 2.0mm discs. This has definitely done the tricl - all the power and control I'm used to with no fade whatsoever. I've paird these with Magura MT5s, which are supposed to run 2.0mm discs anyway. Definitely recommended and an improement over stock.
