A technological equipment that shows indicators about your well-being is important. Edge 530 is a tracker that collects and displays information about your performance during the training routine. For example, through smart notifications you will know the ideal time to feed, drink water, among other activities.
Through its 2’6 ”screen with a resolution of 246x322 pixels, you will know the different routes and you can control it using keys. With the use of normal functions, the battery life is up to 20 hours. It can be used in situations with the presence of water because it has resistance to liquid ingress. To learn about the different paths, you have connectivity to the GPÑS and GLONASS satellites. Also, it supports the following connections: ANT +, Bluetooth, BLE, Wi-fi.
Its configuration is equipped with speed sensor, cadence sensor, dual HRM heart rate band, among others. The weight of sports equipment does not exceed 80 grams. You can adapt the Varia rear view radar and lights to this device. Through the Connect IQ store you can customize widgets and applications.

I'm still getting to know the device and all its functionalities. Coming from an IGS620 to this, the Garmin has a lot more features, and seems more robust, both HW and SW. The app is also a lot better and has many cool training features baked in. On the road, the screen is plenty bright, the buttons are easy to use (haven't tried while wearing winter gloves though). Battery life is great, works really well with Strava, like you'd expect. Shipping was delayed by a couple of days (probably because of the local holiday) but other than that it went well.

It is the first time that I use a cycle computer to go mountain biking. They recommended me the Garmin 530, I saw it on sale at BikeInn and I didn't even think about it. I have already released it, and I am delighted. You have to spend a couple of hours to learn how to use it, install associated apps such as wikiloc or Strava and configure the various data screens. Everything is great. I bought it to be able to download routes from Wikiloc and follow the route and it's great to carry the map in the Garmin with the directions and not have to stop to take a look at the mobile when you don't know which fork to take.

The best bike computer on the market. There is no extra touch screen. There is no unnecessary setting of phone data fields, as this is rarely done after setting up the bike computer. Best size. I think the larger size is overkill.
