Index S2 is a Garmin electronic scale that will allow you to keep your weight at an optimal level. This model includes a screen that allows you to observe your health indicators in an easy to read way.
When you connect the electronic scale to the Garmin Connect app, you can share your health statistics. The version shows you the relationship of your muscle mass to your height, the amount of body fat (essential and stored) and the mass of skeletal muscle. You can store up to 16 profiles efficiently. Another of its features is that it includes a weather widget that shows you the forecast of the day so you can plan your outdoor sports activities.

I should have bought this Garmin scale a long time ago. First bought a cheaper version, but there was always something wrong with it. Garmin is completely correct. Nice model too. Many functions. The scale links quickly to the app and Wi-Fi. The weighing is quite tight (tested with known weight). What cost me a little more is linking another user. Regarding bone mass, fat percentage and muscle, it would be interesting for me to enter the real data after measuring it with a caliper (in the case of fat percentage) to really see that the scale measures it more or less well. Pending being able to do it.

The advantage is the automatic integration with garmin connect, allowing those who use the Garmin ecosystem to have everything centralized. Weight measurement is correct and consistent, whereas fat mass sometimes seems to be random. However, for this purpose, I consider it to be an excellent tool for anyone who wants to monitor their weight daily and easily.

A beautiful and very functional scale. All the values match the competition and reality except for the percentage of fat, which the scale shows me is much higher than reality, which is strange because the other values are the same as for the competition incl. BMI. Even when entering a correction value according to the medical measurement, the scale is still not willing to accept the given values. Even when changing the sports activity category setting, the number is still higher. Without correction it was 12% with a correction of 3%. The weight is probably set for motivation :-) In any case, there is no better choice for those who use the garmin ecosystem. The scale is also suitable for exporting data to apple healt, you must have a garmin connect account.
My expectations were too high

Based on my experience with other Garmin products, I expected everything to be perfect. It is not a bad scale, but I found it a bit fiddly at times. For example the touch controls to move through the metrics are hit-and-miss. Also the measured values varied a lot in the beginning, but stabilized lately. Same goes for the initial setup and people recognition, which seemed to be unstable in the beginning. Overall, the scale serves its purpose, but there is room for improvement of the user experience for sure.

Barring an initial issue updating the factory firmware, which doesn't work with iOS 15 or earlier, the scale is perfect. The connection with Garmin Connect is also very good and allows monitoring with a fabulous App.

Fast delivery and all good. The scale does what it promises and syncs well with garmin connect. The only thing that is a bit annoying is that each user of the family that you want to use it has to create a profile in garmin connect. It is not very laborious but a little rollete. Bought in Israel! They cost about 250 and I counted on the quality and service of a local provider from Garmin. At first, I could not get enough of downloading data immediately to Garmin connect with data from other sensors showing everything you need to maintain or lose weight, but after 2 months of use, a point appeared as if something had fallen and scratched the glass. The scales began to lie by 2-3 kilograms, the reboot helps. I have not contacted the dealer yet, but having the experience of buying in Israel, you cannot count on a guarantee! I have a scale from Chiomi, the whole family has been using it for a year and it works without problems!
