my 2nd helmet of this type, having crashed the first. lightweight, good & comfortable fit - can fiddle with the straps until they are nice and loose, as i like it, without the helmet feeling as if it'll come off. the description of the cinder somewhere said "not a mushroom look" but on my head, I am not so convinced that statement is true. nevertheless: comfortable, sleek, good ventilation - as i mostly ride in the tropics, good airflow is key.

i had the questionable luck to get into a fall the very first time i got this helmet. i hit the ground, hard - back of my head hit the ground as the first part of my body touching the ground. it was a nasty sound & a big hit. cracked the helmet in the back, but my head came out fine. other than some stiffness in my neck and a head-ache lingering until evening the day after, I was fine. I am pretty sure that without this helmet I have been in hospital, having my head fixed while now I put my chain back on my bike and continued the ride for another 60k´s. other than that: for the 2 hours i had the joy or riding with it: light, great fit, airy. was happy with it

Great helmet. The fit is perfect. In use it feels comfortable, light, and cool. I like the look of it. The MIPS technology should be a significant step forward in helmet technology and I'll probably not buy another helmet without MIPS.
