Very comfortable, look ok, work well on the bike and great price. The sole is stiff enough for good power transfer.

i bought these as a lightweight summer shoe to wear for my 7 months mountain bike guiding in turkey. sure enough, they´re nice and breathable and even in 40+ degree´s my feet were ok! when i bought them they were very comfortable straight away, easy to set up, fine to walk in and you didn´t get that *click* *click* you get with most bike shoes when used with cleats. after only a few months (we´re giving my shoes the season length of 7 months as a life span) the soles had worn enough you were *clicking* with every step. 7 months in and the ´knobbles´ on the bottom are almost entirely worn off around the ball of the foot. for wearing them 6 days a week, i didn´t actually do a lot of walking in them. they were grippy enough, but by the end of the season, crossing rocks became increasingly hard due to the cleat being less recessed. part way through the season i kicked a stick, and it went straight through the mesh next to the big toe on my right shoe. ok, my fault! shortly after, the shoes went in the wash, and another, almost identical hole appeared on the left shoe! by the end of the season both holes were fairly substantial and lots of the foam padding from around the heel of the shoe had also come out. conclusion: good for casual, un-demanding summer cycling (road cycling in heat?). terrible for demanding daily use off road. i also missed having ,a tongue over the laces to add a little more control to them - bit of an aside.
