Joint tissue and tendon state suffer progressive deterioration mainly due to the passing of the years as well as the continuing process of wear caused by physical activity. At the same time, the presence of free radicals within the same joint also contributes greatly to its deterioration and during exercise many are produced.

This tissue is composed mainly of complex substances, generically called mucopolysaccharides (chondroitin, glucosamine, hyaluronic acid) which are synthesized using a series of key intermediate elements including sulfur, silicon and vitamin C. The quantity of sulfur and silicon that food contributes may end up being low or simply be in chemical forms which are poorly absorbed by the body.

Therefore, to prevent and/or delay its deterioration and try to regenerate this tissue, the alternative is to directly ingest mucopolysaccharides with a known concentration. Some of these substances are also found in shark cartilage, but their concentration varies greatly in different cartilages and a lot of capsules should be taken in order to provide us with sufficient mucopolysaccharides.

Therefore, Artrocare uses a standardized concentration of mucopolysaccharides (chondroitin, glucosamine and hyaluronic acid of low-molecular-weight to facilitate absorption), which always allows to guarantee its content and purity.

For the manufacturing of new joint tissue, silicon, sulfur and vitamin C are also needed.

Silicon comes from inorganic salts and is not absorbed at all. Absorbable organic silicon salts, which belong to a family of compounds called silanols, are not allowed in food. Therefore, Artrocare contains a natural source of organic silicon, authorized and fully absorbable: Tabashir bamboo exudate containing 80% of organic silicon fully absorbable by our body.

As a source of sulfur containing Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM ), it is a natural product that gives the body the necessary amounts of sulfur.

Simultaneously, Artrocare contains vitamin E (which protects joint tissue against free radicals) and vitamin C, that aside from its antioxidant action, is involved in the synthesis of articular tissue.

Artrocare also contains curcumin, a naturally occurring substance in the Turmeric extract, which has very interesting anti-inflammatory properties that modulate the regeneration of joint tissue.

In order to enhance absorption of its components, Artrocare contains a natural patented black pepper extract (Bioperine) which enhances its action, thus making it unnecessary to administer higher amounts of active ingredients.

Therefore, Artocare is intended to protect and regenerate joints and tendons of the general population, whether or not they are athletes. But if sport is practiced, its use is indispensable. With Artrocare the incidence and duration of injuries are decreased, protecting against joint tissue degeneration, thus allowing for continued training in an optimal manner.

How to use:

- Depending on the symptoms, take two or three doses of 2 capsules (4-6 per day), with meals. Since improvement of joint and tendon disorders is slow, it is recommended to take Artrocare for at least 8-12 weeks. If ingested continuously, you can rest a month after taking it for three straight months since its effect remains a month longer in joint and tendon tissues.
