With just 215g of weight, Protone has the lowest drag and the fastest heat dissipation coefficients compared to any other ventilated helmet. Thanks to several ventilation holes and a thick padding material, heat and moisture are dissipated very fast, improving comfort and performance without giving up on safety: the top area is reinforced with an internal plastic sub-structure that increases crash protection. Nineteen colors available.
The Protone weighs just 215g and uses a 3D Dry padding with a multi-layer open cell construction process to give a more comfortable ride. It has removable and washable inner padding, made from CoolMax® fabrics and its inner padding fabric has been treated using the Sanitized® antimicrobial process. KASK has also continued to use its Multi In-Moulding Technology to create a polycarbonate cover for the top, base ring and the back of the helmet’s shell. This is joined to the inner polystyrene cap via KASK’s In-Moulding Technology to improve the shell’s shock absorption. Its strengthened frame further reduces the risk of a shock breaking the shell.

Excellent helmet, the quality of construction is clearly well above any I've had before from a variety of the popular helmet manufacturers. Inside and out it is a very attractive helmet, I wish I had this model in several colors. I found it very comfortable and highly adjustable, not quite as well ventilated as their Valegro model, which is as the two helmets were designed.

The Kask Protone is light and sits snug on my medium size head without looking like a mushroom which looks great. As its a semi-aero helmet, I found it warmer than my other helmets with more vents. One thing that I found was an issue for me is the helmet adjustments at the back that makes it difficult for me to wear my glasses. Maybe its my glassed but i had to fiddle and adjust my glasses to fit just right or my glasses ends up misaligned to my face and that’s a little annoying. Delivery wise, it took about 2 weeks to Singapore.

Best helmet you can get for the price. 229 gm pr a M size, fits perfectly even if you are wearing a bike balaclava, there's room for the sunglasses's rods and it's really ventilated. Leather chin strap give it an high end finishing. Can't be more happy of the purchase.

This was a replacement purchase for my old Protone. I I have a misshapen head and many helmets don't fit - I need to get Large to get a good fit side-to-side but most helmets are too long for my head shape. Protone has a great adjustment mechanism that cradles my head and it stays put. It's light, cool (air flow) and provides great fit. I have used it for Ironman distance races in hot/humid climate and loved it.
