I love Mavic helmets. For me the fit is as good as you are going to get. A nice compact design with good aero features. Mavic sizes are pretty much spot on. I love that they go up to 59cm in the medium. I measure 58cm so would have to buy the way too big lid in most other brands. This will be the 3rd Mavic hat I have had and will get another when the time comes.

I’m a 56cm and got the size M due to my squarish head. The webbing straps were sleek and MIPS def made it comfy to wear on. Overall, the helmet is very light! Great deal!

got the S as i measured 56cm on the dot, but struggled to get my head all the way in with a noticeable pressure on my temples region. probably due to the oval shaped helmet on my circle shaped head. nonetheless, still a quality build with it weighing close to nothing and the tubed shaped straps are super comfortable, checked out the M size immediately. pity it costs 90bucks to ship it back from where im residing, but delivery progress is promptly updated too, overall would recommend (:

Before the review, I worn the helmet with the summer cap in two different occasions. Both days were hot (30 deg. C) and humid (70%). Now, I have a big head, 61 measured so when I put it on I felt the helmet is not there! It is light, compared with the old one and due to discrete knob adjustment it fitted just right on the head. It does not tilt backwards or frontwards, just right. The straps sits over the cheeks nicely and they are thin. Why no other company thought of round straps? One small thing, because of my profile, the straps are on the end of the length. During the ride I paid attention to cooling since I do sweat a lot. I was kind of circumspect of cooling, although the front vents are quite large. But I was completely taken by surprise that cooling actually is quite good. Summer cap it helps a lot for heat transfer (pure physics). I felt that the 3 front vents do the job, not so sure about the lateral ones. The helmet padding is good, for the first time the sweat did not dropped on my glasses and forehead. Again, summer cap helps a lot also for sweat retaining. Although the helmet is on the higher end of pricing it is worth it; light, good cooling and in the end it has MIPS which is comforting. Conclusion: I strongly recommend the helmet and the cap. Also do not forget about the 3 years replacement program.

Fits perfect! Absolutely comfortable and robust costruction. Wearing with Mavic Summer Underhelmet Cap (https://www.bikeinn.com/bike/mavic-summer-underhelmet-cap/135954678/p). Recommend both! Whatever it costs it's really worth it!
