The Ardents are simply awesome. Super low rolling resistance and great tracking, even on wet trails. Not a full trail tire or good in the mud but overall one of my favorite tires hands down.

I repeat again with maxxis ardent TR, it gives a lot of confidence and safety in any terrain, very versatile tire, I usually have a fairly low pressure and the tire responds very well. I don't think you try anything other than Ardent 2.25 exo TB.

Despite the good size of the 27.5x 2.40 tire MAXXIS ARDENT tire originally fitted to my mountain bike, I was disappointed when I received my order. the tire is less tall and less than 5mm wide. this is what it is to order on the internet, we know what we are ordering but we do not know what we are receiving.

After running the Ardent race front and rear, I wanted a beefier tread for the winter months. The Ardent has been the perfect tire. Great cornering, acceleration, and braking but with very little rolling resistance. Pretty durable as well...9 months of 2 to 3 hours 6 x a week all on dirt. Longest wearing tire I've ever owned. This is my second set. 2.4 for winter 2.25 for summer racing season.

This is my second set of Ardents. Great rolling resistance combined with excellent cornering and braking abilities. A confidence inspiring tire. Tread holds up great to 2 plus hour of daily training and fairly rocky terrain. A good price, easy ordering, and fast delivery. What more can we ask for ?

The front wheel gives incredible security. For the curves with gravel or small stone it does not go away. Nothing is lost when shooting. I do not need a compressor to heal, I've only tightened it with the foot pump.

I used to have 2.25 and I loved that tire: fast, light and good in wet conditions. It was lacking slightly in grip on dry, steep and loose terrain, so you had to adjust a little for that. It was perfect for wet, rocky and rooty conditions. 2.4 Ardents arrived reasonably fast but at this price point I really did not mind waiting a few days extra. They are really full and look awesome on my new 35 mm internal width rims. I am going to have little trouble getting to the top of those long climbs.
