Excellent covers for all terrains. I have been using Maxxis for years and 0 punctures or tires. The Ikon are the best performance for XC of the entire range.

I have mounted it on the front wheel, to replace a Rekon Race. It seems to cover more terrain (without reaching the mud), and maintaining a good rolling capacity. 2.35´´ tire for generous internal width tires, in my case 30´´

This is the second pair i bought. 1st one was a 27.5, this time a 29er for my second bike. A bit noisier than the 2.20 width, but traction and cornering is much better with this 2.35. I use this for my daily and recreational rides, mostly on pavement roads, and it rolls terrific, and does not wear quickly. I trust this tires and will most probably purchase this model again ones my other ones wear out.
