With side knobs borrowed from the legendary Minion DHF, but widened to provide more support, the DHR II corners like no other. The center tread features ramped leading edges to improve acceleration and sipes to create a smooth transition when leaning the bike. Paddle-like knobs on the center tread dig in under hard braking and help keep the bike under control. Pair it with a Minion DHF up front for the ultimate aggressive trail riding tire combo! The Minion DHF is available in trail, enduro, and downhill specs.

Tyre is brilliant. This is to replace one I wore out......they are really good tyres but have a hefty price! I pay more for tyres on my bike than I do on my van. However, with bikeinn selling them at half the RRP, it makes these a steal. Everytime I buy I think I should have bought more. Bikeinn never fail to please with their prices, service and communication.

Great all round tyre! DD casing keeps you rolling as it pretty much eradicated punctures. If the Maxxis tyres say ‘3CT’ = MaxxTerra or ‘3CG’ = MaxxGrip compound
The only rear tyre you need!

I've been using a DHR II on the rear with an Assegai up front for the past few years, and I couldn't be happier with them. For almost all rides in almost all conditions they're great (the only time they aren't is when it's super muddy, but most non-mud spike tyres will suffer too), offer plenty of grip, good feel and in DD casing good puncture resistance and tyre stability too. The only thing to note is that this particular version is the MaxxGrip compound. It doesn't mention it on the product page which specific version it is, and I mistakenly read the product code as referencing MaxxTerra. I usually use MaxxTerra as it lasts for a long time, so this MaxxGrip tyre I've received might have to be fitted for racing or specific weekends as they don't last particularly long.

Maxxgrip DD TR with 3C 2x120 TPI. I’ve run these tires in almost every condition imaginable without fail. I received my order in the USA after a week and product was just as advertised. The only other tires I would compare with are the Maxxis Aggressor DD TR or the Michelin DH22 (if you can find them)
