The Minion DHR II is a complete redesign. Acceleration, cornering and braking have all been improved. The shoulder knobs were borrowed from the legendary Minion DHF and then beefed up to handle duty as a rear tire. The center tread has been heavily ramped and siped to roll fast and track straight under braking. Pair the DHR II with the Minion DHF for the ultimate aggressive riding combo!

For my taste, the best rear tire for Minion DHR II DD MaxGrip 2.4w enduro. One of the lightest, rolling tires but with the necessary characteristics for hardcore enduro. Excellent grip, reinforced casing.

On my 3rd one of these now after coming from Michelin wild enduros. 2.3 double down maxterra on the rear with assegai up front. Amazing setup! Like someone else said, if you don’t mind the wait then this is the place to go. I usually order a new one when I fit a the last new one, then I’m not in a hurry for it to arrive.

So after ordering my maxxis tyre from these guys I soon realised that it was coming from Spain then alarm bells rang! Thinking I’d be paying import duty but thankfully no charge! So as long as you don’t mind the wait as it travels around Europe and finally to the UK Go ahead

Didn’t think I’d feel the difference but replacing my rear Eliminator and front Butcher tyres with minion DHR and DHF on my Levo Turbo really upped my confidence and speed on technical downhill trails. Very happy with purchase after initial reservation over the apparent narrowness of the Maxxis tyres. Buy a wider model (2.6 min I’d recommend) although 2.4 on the rear performed well for me!

I bought this tyre for more puncture protection for the rear of my mountain bike. I like this tyre because it rolls well and corners well but also digs in when on the brakes. As usual really great value and service from bikeinn. Love buying stuff from here. Recommended.

DHR 2 has never let me down. Braking is second to none. Only gripe is Sometimes maxxis quality clear dodgy bead tires that wobble when seated. Bit annoying but doesn't hinder performance provided you have the clearance.
