Using Maxxis TR technology from our mountain bike tires along with a ONE70 (170 TPI) casing and a carbon fiber bead, we were able to create a race-ready tubeless road tire weighing just 260g for a 23c size! The Padrone-TR also features our SilkShield technology, protecting the tire from bead to bead.

Maxxis Pradone Tubeless tire

I keep coming back to Maxxis Pradone after trying multiple other tubeless road tires. They win on durability, price, ease of installation. Next to no flats in the last 5-6 years with use of sealant. I have come to favor the 28mm tire for comfort and ride quality, though 23 and 25 mm tires have also worked well. I ride about 8000 miles per year on paved surfaces of variable quality.
