A cross-country and marathon mtb shoe designed for winter sessions in mild climates. The shoe is made in Pique Gore-Tex® membrane, keeping the foot warm and perfectly isolated. An additional lining on the tip of the foot provides to improve thermal insulation.
Features:
- Power transmission is given to the Jaws Carbon Reinforced sole with a 8.0 stiffness index and a natural rubber tread heel for extreme grip on any surface.
- The upper has the overlap construction, made with the most innovative materials, uniformly wrapping the foot without any pressure point and helping to transfer every watt of power, eliminating the dispersion of energy. Furthermore, the TPU reinforcements ensure a 360° protection along the entire upper.
- An easy and even closure system is guaranteed by the SLW2 dial, the only one with a step-by-step release, which allows a millimetric adjustment of the shoe closure in a quick and intuitive manner. The new Easyfit Climaflex collar combines the extreme elasticity of the Gore-Tex Rattler® membrane with the high thermal insulation of Neoprene, guaranteeing mobility and protection.
- The wrapping and positioning of the heel are guaranteed by an anatomical seat and a solid thermoformed counter, in addition to the Arctic 4Layer insole made with Eva + aluminum + Eva + Pile which ensures excellent thermal insulation. For safety, the 360?° reflective inserts guarantee excellent visibility on the road.

Great MTB Shoe

This is the third pair of these shoes so I obviously like them and they have been tweaked over the years to make them better. Though technically a winter boot I wear them all the year round. I use a volume filling insole in the summer and then you can put a thin one in for the winter and a thicker sock. Good ankle protection, waterproof, comfortable, OK to walk/climb in, and easy to clean.

Comfortable up to 5 degrees Celsius with all-season socks, 0 degree comfortable with winter socks, and 5 degrees below freezing is a little painful if you can tolerate it. In addition to the Gore-Tex fabric, it has a long mouth so it can be used with rain pants even in the summer. It's better to be hot than to get wet. Low-cut Gore-Tex shoes aren't practical unless you combine them with a gaiter or shoe cover because water can get in through your mouth, but it's practical enough.
I have others on the road and i already knew them, good quality and warm
