Heavy use of this product

i probably should score the batteries a 4.5 because one of the batteries didn,t last very long at all but the other three were very good. if you are a person that works at night and you working away from artificial lighting then this head lamp is very useful. i find it most useful when i,m at our family farm at night when i,m working out behind the barn where there aren´t,t any light at all . the light pattern is wide and when on high it will light up the whole barnyard. the only problem i have had with this light is when someone is with me and we are having ,a conversation which means i tend to blind the person that is with me because i look at the person i,m talking to when i talk, so that´s about it. it is expensive but if you need some serious light at night time there is no light that i could find that comes close to this head lamp. i have been very hard on this headlamp and after having ,it for three years it still works very well. i would recommend this product to anyone. one small note to people that don,t like heavy weight on their head , there is an optional battery pack that you can wear on your belt. i prefer the head lamb with battery in the back because i have a problem with the wire that hangs down to your belt . i just made sure the light is balanced well on my head and then i have no problems.
