With all POC helmets, safety is of paramount importance. The Octal Aero is POC’s top of the range helmet, used by the likes of Andrew Talansky and Daniel Martin, this helmet is fast, lightweight and a stylish way to keep your head protected.

Protection is covered by a specially constructed Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) liner, this is thicker in the crucial areas prone to impact. This liner is covered by a polycarbonate (PC) outer shell that provides more coverage to vulnerable areas, such as the temples, and provides more coverage than rival helmet brands.

The uni body shell construction is incredibly strong and results in a very lightweight helmet, a mere 215 grams in its medium size.

The Octal Aero AVIP Helmet is designed to be aerodynamic but also well ventilated. Ventilation is catered for with carefully positioned air vents, channeling air flow, to keep your head cool.

A Coolbest padding system has been installed on the inside of the helmet. This further enhances airflow and moisture control, thus reducing the temperature between the helmet and your head.

The design of this futuristic looking helmet has won POC many fans and awards. The seamless integrated helmet straps moulded into the liner make for a clean and unobtrusive profile.

AVIP is POC´s Attention, Visibility, Interaction and Protection system. This is designed to add visibility and improve safety. POC have produced the Octal Aero AVIP in a bright zink orange colour and added an In Case of Emergency (ICE) tag barcode. This barcode allows you to register your personal data on your helmet, so in the unfortunate case of an accident the emergency services would, with the required app, be able to pick up all your vital information.
