I purchased this product to replace the Polar h10 chest heart rate monitor. During running and trail sessions lasting even many hours, the h10 band caused annoying abrasions. I tried this with the doubt that it might not have the same precision as the chest one. However, I was happily surprised, very reliable measurements and it's like not having it. Recommended!!!

I've always found the classic heart rate monitors pretty uncomfortable, this thing is almost as accurate and easy to wear. My Garmin watch works perfectly with the OH1 +, battery life is okay with 12 hours. Cool part. :-)

Displays exactly the same as my Garmin Fenix 6X Pro and another heart rate sensor in the chest strap. Works with Zwift directly connected to a computer or connected to a Garmin Edge cycling computer. More comfortable to use than chest straps. Can also measure heart rate at the temple if you wear goggles. However, have not tested.

Nice little device. Nice and small. Charging the battery takes an average of 2 hours. If you are going to use the heart rate sensor with a wristwatch, you have to switch on the heart rate sensor (5 times green). Wait a moment and then the heart rate sensor flashes 1 time white and then green every 3 seconds when the heart rate is found and then it works on your wristwatch. If you only use the heart rate sensor without a phone or wristwatch, etc. (autonomous), you have to turn on the heart rate sensor 5 times green. Wait a moment and then the heart rate sensor will flash 2 times white fast and then 2 times green fast every 3 seconds when the heart rate is found. Note: when you hold the heart rate sensor in your hand, the light often turns green quickly and if you want to see the light blink white then you have to place the heart rate sensor half a meter away from you and it often takes another half a minute before it starts. turns white. It is pleasant to work with the heart rate sensor. Recommend the heart rate sensor to everyone.

Finally I found a solution for measuring the HR in cold and dry conditions. Rode with a chest strap in the past but that did not work correctly as it was too dry outside. Even electrode gel did not help. Setting up the connection to a Garmin Edge 830 and Forerunner 935 worked flawlessly.

Follower of the chest straps (polar, garmin ..) I think I have found a simpler approach and which especially does not slip in full effort =). My Garmin counter dropped me so plan B is OH1 paired with my trusty Garmin 230 and it works nickel. in addition if we sort it is waterproof, what else?

I am from Chile and I made the order by DHL. The product itself is very good and everything is perfect from bikeinn but I recommend you not to do it by this means (DHL), since in addition to charging me for normal shipping I had to pay customs and taxes that are generally not charged by Chilean mail. i did extensive online research first, i concluded that the wrist approaches were less reliable, and i was definitely not into having ,a restricting band around my chest. i have my oh1 for a few days now, and am very pleased to see how it accurately tracks and reports my heart rate. especially doing various outdoor chores. it has given me a brand new insight into what kind of workout i get doing some yardwork, and makes my nordic trak workouts much more disciplined! i'm glad i got it before polar stopped you from selling them to the usa. i would not have been willing to pay the price from other sellers, and would have had to by a different product.

I have been using chest straps for years and my dream was to get an arm/wrist optic HRM. I bought this as I have always used Polar products, unfortunately this product, no matter how close or tight I place it on my goggles to my temple area, it will not record a session after about 3 seconds. It works great for all dry land activities - walking, cycling, and yoga, but swimming not really. Any help would be appreciated.

I like the OH1. It is a VERY light, very reliable heart rate monitor. If you are dead set on an external heart rate sensor, the OH1 is a good device. For people who don’t like the feeling of a chest strap, the OH1 may be a really good option, especially given that you can use it in the pool!

After getting strong skin irritation by Garmin HRM-Run I decided to use OH1 as my main HRM. This sensor is small and way more comfortable than any chest strap. Battery capacity is quite small. There's good review of this sensor by DC Rainmaker - totally recommend it if you want to know more about OH1 HR measurement precision. Anyway I have no complains about precision though I avoid to use OH1 for races when I need maximum HR precision. I absolutlely adore this sensor and use it on every training session.
