My bike, even being a 700 rim, the mudguard was small and I couldn't put it on.
Works but has a very wide arc

As per product description, it can be extended to accommodate 28" and possibly 29" wheels. However the arc length is long and conforms better to the curvature of a 29"/700c wheel than the 26" wheel on my bike. It still works, is widely compatible with different sized wheels, and is pretty cheap. But mudguards designed for a specific wheel size will be able to achieve a more exact and better looking fit.
