I bought this extendable fender because the one I had on my 28" wheel didn't completely cover it, and splashes were flying on my back. With this one I no longer have that problem, and the rod adjusts it in place.

Hello, This mudguard is made of plastic. It´s a decent product, and in my opinion it´s worth the cost. If you want something more fancy and/or made of aluminum, it will probably cost more.
