Thanks to the new design, size and ergonomic ´´T SHAPE´´, SCRATCH M5 PAS is suitable for Man / Woman. The size is 250 x 140mm and the weights vary depending by the model: the Nack version is only 129gr, while the Tirox version is 185gr.
The new MSS- Multi Sector System, designed in collaboration with the Politecnico of Milano, improves comfort and performance. The active foams, separated from each other, create 5 mapped zones that work individually, supporting the normal pedalling movement both during the pushing and pulling phases. The round shape of the SCRATCH M5 allows the pelvis to rotate naturally, creating stability and support for the lumbar areas; it also favours the distribution of pressure over a larger surface.
The PAS (Perineal Area System) is a channel designed to eliminate pressure peaks and numbness, improving blood flow. Its particular ergonomic design, assisted by variable density foams, eliminates contact points in the prostatic-genital area. The PAS channel is ideal for users who prefer performance combined with comfort over long and medium distances.

Saddle purchased to replace a saddle of the same type which I found less comfortable. Paradoxically, this saddle has less foam thickness but the difference in density seems more effective. Likewise, the material on the seat makes pedaling easier and avoids too much friction. Ditto, for the shorter “spout” which improves comfort. For now after 2 outings (1 hour of home trainer and 4 hours of "saddle"), I am satisfied with my purchase. I recommend.

Very good saddle. It gives very good support and is comfortable. Of course, be careful with the inclination, the first day I went out I set it to -1º (just like my previous saddle had) and I came back with a tremendous pain in the ass. I increased it to 2º, and perfect. I suppose each person will have their own anatomy and will have to adjust it accordingly, but once adjusted, it works great.

When I used this saddle it was a little small for my sit bones (I usually use an 143mm power saddle) and was rather uncomfortable on the road. Unless your sit bones can suit a 140mm saddle I want not recommend this saddle.
