The evolution of Ritchey handlebars continues with the Comp ErgoMax. This new bar enjoys a rich history of handlebar design and development, and combines it with the modern demands of discerning riders who enjoy riding varying surfaces.

- Designed to enhance control and comfort when riding along loose surfaces, the ErgoMax is ideal for a gravel bike since it places the hands in a wider, more stable position while in the drops. The ErgoMax is just as perfectly situated on road bikes that are built for endurance, its ergonomics delivering unparalleled comfort.

- The bar tops employ a 10mm rise at the clamping area, which offers a slightly more upright riding position. They are then ovalized and have a slight 4-degree rearward sweep to more evenly distribute the weight of the rider´s hands and wrists, also putting them in a more natural position.

- Continuing with an eye towards ergonomics, the ErgoMax also features drops with a nice 12-degree flare to keep the rider´s hands in a comfortable and confident position, while also adding a bit more unobstructed stability when turning or sprinting.

- The new Ritchey ErgoMax bar delivers more control, welcome comfort and increased confidence when riding gravel, setting out on multi-day adventures or rolling along those long miles of tarmac.

I was having ,difficulty with a fitting to the limit(TTH too long), and this bar helped get into a comfortable position. Aero on top, control and knee clearance when in the hoods, descending or sprinting. Great!

Great handlebar

If you are looking for a great handlebar for long rides at a good price, then the ergomax comp is for you. I came from a road handlebar and the increase in comfort and control is tremendous. Enjoy going further everyday.

I recommend steering wheels, I did not have a better one, shipping to Poland also super fast 4 working days and I had a mega well packed package.

Excellent product, I find myself much better than the normal compact, in low grip especially downhill the slightly flared levers of 12 ° allow you to brake more easily. The high drip grip is restful. Aesthetically beautiful, it gives the bike more grit. Very satisfied, great shop

Width measurement

Hi. Are the bars measured from outer to outer, or centre to centre? Thanks.

Dimensions are center to center. I think it is not marked but the 46cm hanger (at the level of the pots) is 51cm at the bottom of the hanger to give an idea. PS: Personally, I´m a fan of this handlebar on my gravel (46cm for 1m87)

The BB is anodized black, whereas the one you are referring to is silver (despite the images...). Look in the "Feature" section Great bar by the way. I really like it on my Giant Revolt.
