In my opinion the best handlebar grip

Free graft with Allen closing hooks, spongy material that absorbs sweat and is soft and malleable to the touch. Absence of ergonomic shape (I personally don't like ergonomic knobs and I prefer these with a neutral shape). Mounts/dismounts super fast. Resistance, in my experience, of about 10,000 km after which they begin to harden (a lot, however, also depends on the type of hand, perspiration, the station, whether you use gloves or not, etc.).

Hi, I have already purchased grips of this brand but in a different colour. From the photo these black ones seem different... the closing cap and the aluminum stops have certainly changed. my question is instead about the sponge....is it shaped like the old ones or are they more rounded? Thank you

The grips of the HD LOCKING GRIPS series exist in two versions: the TRUEGRIP (these) which have a non-shaped sponge and exist in seven different colours, while then there are the ERGO which are identical as regards the structure (Allen lock, etc. identical for years) but they have a shaped sponge and only exist in black.

I´m not sure what the old ones were like but these have a hexagonal profile but with smoothed edges! They are very comfortable, easy to clean (I put the cuffs against some bushes and they got quite dirty but when I got home I easily cleaned them with a damp sponge) and they seem resistant - sweat and friction have also affected the original appearance, since 1 year. Hope this helps!

The black are exactly as the picture. Love them..... and I´ve tried many many different grips. Easily my favorite.
