I believe that this type of shock absorber was mounted until 2018. On my 2017 Stumpjumper it solved a project change problem from the following year.

The shock absorber I replaced had different graphics than the original but structurally compatible. Having Stumpjumper 2017 I needed to have that particular stem without eyelet and of course the correct size of the stem. I knew that even in 2018 this project remained. L ammortizzatore da me sostituito aveva grafica diversa dell'originale ma strutturale compatibile. Avendo Stumpjumper 2017 necessitavo di aver quel particolare attacco senza occhiello e ovviamente la dimensione corretta dello stelo. Io sapevo che anche nel 2018 era rimasto questo progetto. Successivamente cambiato con ammortizzatori tradizionali.

Mounted on Stumpjumper 2017, it replaces the original locking totally partially and not at all depending on the lever position. I consider the lockout only necessary on asphalt and not on trails.
Montato su Stumpjumper 2017 sostituisce l´originale bloccando totalmente parzialmente e per nulla a seconda della posizione leva. Ritengo il blocco necessario solo su asfalto e non su trail.

This shock absorber is made with a particular insert in the lower part and was produced until around 2018. It has a cubic graft and not the classic hole, which is only present at the top. So I would say yes.
Questo ammortizzatore è fatto con un particolare innesto nella parte inferiore ed è stato prodotto fino al 2018 circa. Ha un innesto cubico e non il classico foro, che è presente solo superiormente. Quindi direi di sì.
