I want to convert from Current ALDHU 2xDM Q Rings to 1x Q Ring. Is this compatible and do I need any additional spacers? Thanks.

It will be a direct swap with the supplied tool. I did the same recently. The 1x ring is slightly dished for better chainline by the way.

Yes compatible and no need any spacer, but your chainline will reduce

Compatible. I converted from 1x to 2x as in the question. No additional spacers required. Once I was freed from front shifting, I was able to ride my bike more easily.

I wish to purchase this 54T Direct mount Oval chainring for my Birdy R20. Which crank arm & axle must I purchase together to make it complete for installation? Aldhu carbon 30, or Aldhu alloy 30? Can i also retain the use of my bb? Thank you for your reply.

You will need aldhu spindle and crank arms. The spindle comes in either 24 or 30mm which you should choose depending of the size of your current crank. Carbon and alloy you mentioned is the crank arms, you need to make sure to get the correct crank arms for selected spindle.

Yes. This chainring is single (Narrow Wide). I use a 54t chainring for BROMPTON.

Yes, the teeth profile on this ring is narrow-wide, meant for x1 (single) use. Light and mounts directly to the axle and secured in place with the right crank arm. Be sure to grease the threads and correctly torque the M10 hex bolt or it’ll work itself loose. Torque value is stated on crank arm.
