Have been using a pair of these for 2 years, 50km per week. They accomplish their job. It seems more expensive pads have better-quality rubber, or dual-compound-rubber (tender rubber for braking hard but wears fast, hard rubber which wears more slowly but doesn´t brake hard). The most important factor: -regularly clean the braking surfaces of your rims (a cloth and soapy water), to remove the residue of rubber and road dirt -learn how to true your wheel, so that the braking surface is as parallel as possible Wish you fun in your bicycle rides!
