Product description Santini Gravel Bib Shorts

GRAVEL bib shorts are perfect for those long gravel and MTB adventures. Made with Corno’s gabardin fabric which has great abrasion resistance while still being soft on the skin. With lightweight compression, GRAVEL bibs feature mesh braces, two mesh pockets on the sides, and two additional storage pockets on the back just below the braces. The legs are finished with elasticated grippers we include our longestlasting, most durable and lightweight performance chamois, the C3. Designed to complement any jersey from our collection, GRAVEL bibs are your key to adventure.

Extra points for comfort over long distances

After wearing it, I rode 80Km. It was comfortable and there was no discomfort. The side and back pockets are very convenient and very useful when not wearing a cycling jersey. I am Asian and the fit is according to my normal size M. It fits me well and is OK. There is no need to deliberately choose a larger size, but the length of the sleeves and pants will be longer, which does not affect the disadvantages: when climbing and exerting force, the cushion is a bit soft and slippery.

I do own few jerseys and skinsuit from santini - wanted to get these bibs and wasn't sure about sizing. Read some reviews that for me 190cm tall and 80kg - XL will be good (even though jersey and skin are M and L). But shorts ended up very snug! Not sure if I'd be able to get L on. The look amazing and so comfortable on bumby gravel!

These are great for gravel grinding through the toughest terrain. Very good fit, strong built but very breathable. Pad optimal for up to 8h rides. Highly recommended!

Fantastic shorts - beware of sizing

I probably have a dozen pairs of bibs in my closet, but this newly purchased pair of Santini Gravel Shorts outdoes them all. Most of my shorts are from Santini, all of them great quality, but this pair has the best pad of them all. The fabric is amazing, too; very soft to the touch and fits like a second skin. I love the side and back pockets and plan on taking advantage of them on long road rides as well as gravel. When you don't have anything stuffed into them, they are almost unnoticeable as well, so the aesthetic of the shorts is unspoiled. The wide, sticky, leg grippers are by far the best I have ever had, and hold the shorts legs firmly in place. The grippers are so sticky, in fact, that it's difficult to pull the shorts on without rolling up the grippers first, then rolling them down once the shorts are pulled up. The one caveat to be aware of is that the indicated sizing is about a full size (or more) smaller than with other shorts. I'm a 33" waist (34" in early season, LOL) and normally wear a L in Santini. The sizing guide on BikeInn said to order XL, but I didn't trust it and ordered L, same as my other Santini shorts... big mistake. They were almost impossible to pull on and led to an immediate return at my cost. I was also misled by the Santini website, which recommended L compared to XL from the BikeInn sizing guide (the BikeInn guide is more accurate). Even in an XL, the gravel shorts are much more snug than all my other Santini L shorts, so my recommendation is to definitely order a size larger than what you're used to for a race fit, or two sizes up for a comfort fit.

Purchased at a discounted price it arrived a few days later than expected but that's okay. I bought the larger size than the one I usually buy because I had read that it fits little and I did well, I confirm that it fits one size less than the other Santini models. Excellent quality and comfortable side pockets, I recommend it.

Excellent quality trousers. 6-hour ride with excellent comfort (the best shorts used so far). Comfortable pockets on the back and sides. Choose the size just bigger if you are at the limit

I purchased this product for my outings between road and dirt and I must say that I am more than satisfied with the product, it fits right and is comfortable while pedaling but I recommend looking at the sizes on the manufacturer's website. Shipping and arrival times of the product all ok. Very satisfied.

Santini article of great quality. The model is extra slim, better consult the wearability table on the manufacturer's website before purchasing. If you are on the edge of the indicated range, it may be better to go for the larger size. The C3 chamois is of excellent quality and guarantees maximum protection for rides up to 6 hours (previously used with excellent feedback). Valid for both road and offroad use.
