Highly recommended wheels for moving around the city or for cycling tourism. Also for sports use, to do your gravel bike routes, AS LONG AS you are desperate for punctures (I have had eight punctures in three months), really so desperate that you are willing to significantly give up your performance, you are going to lose in acceleration, capacity bike climber and your usual average speed will be reduced a little. They are a real blow, a measure of last resort, a desperate measure. But, yes, nothing produced by nature is capable of making them puncture. On another bike that I use to go to work, I have the marathon plus mounted, simply, and I have only had a puncture once in five years because I stepped on something that I would define as a kind of five-centimeter piece of metal shrapnel. For gravel use if you like to go at your own pace and are not obsessed with performance, you gain autonomy and peace of mind, they go very well on dirt roads, good grip in curves and also in mud. I had been using the marathon GT 365 and in the first tests of the Tour I have not missed anything, and those 365 are very good on the road, especially on muddy terrain.Of course, it is something obvious and predictable, they cushion very little and dig into the sandbanks like a hot knife into butter, apart from the 35 profile, which is thin, they have a somewhat sharper profile than the GT 365.

I don't know of any tires that are up to this model. They are immortal for any terrain, and especially for bike trips where being overweight is normal and terrain changes as well, these tires do not give you problems for approximately 10,000 km. Zero punctures in my case.

Since it is not handled by Wiggle or Amazon, I found it here and purchased it. I was planning to use it for the touring from the end of January to the beginning of February, but it was not in time for the scheduled departure of the touring because the number of days until delivery was about one month. I have had all three of my bikes shod with Marathon tyres for the last seven years, and so far have had only a single puncture - and that was due to something that would have breached a standard car tyre, never mind a bicycle one. The reflective band on the tyre's outer wall is also an excellent idea, even if it occasionally gives the impression to other road users that one is riding a kind of firework. Still, better seen than not seen.

Hello, if you have 38mm tires of origin it is necessarily that you have rims which are at least 17mm wide allowing to receive tires up to 50mm wide, no problem of compatibility therefore by choosing this reference .

The size that I see written on the original tire is 27.5 Made by Ambrosio.Dimension 584 x 23.A friend of mine has assembled the Shalwbe model maraton from you and it fits well. Hello, you are on the page of a 700C model, i.e. a 28 inch. To make your choice, go to the tire category and in the "size" section choose 27.5 and 29 to find a model suitable for your bikes. However, the most reliable parameter is the ERTO dimensioning.

Hello, they are versatile by their tire tread, lower resistance on the tread and more grip on the sides, I use them every day on the road and on paths, I was also able to do a session in the forest without difficulty but they aren´t knobby MTB tires either.
